As an American, I often wonder where in the Constitution does it imply or state that such a private issue such as abortion should be made by anyone that it does not directly affect. As a woman, I have to wonder what exactly allows the law or a fellow man to decide what any woman should be free to choose to do or not do with her own body.  I think that any woman in the world should have the option to choose an abortion. I don't exactly consider that abortion is the greatest liberty that we have ever been given. On the contrary, I believe that an abortion should be something that is considered very carefully, and not used at all in a frivolous manner (which is often the case in today's morally bankrupt world). Options should be made, and discussions should be had before an abortion is even considered. Sometimes, though there are extenuating circumstances that should absolutely allow a decision to abort. But, any woman should have every right to choose or not to choose. Of course, there should still be certain limitations on abortions, such as only allowing it up until a certain time frame (the first trimester) or medical issues (mentally, physically).

I should go as far as declare that no matter what the reason, the thought, or the emotions involved if any woman considers an abortion it is her business, and her business alone. No one in the world has any right to deny her, nor to question her, or dissuade her in this instance. In 1972, the courts ruled that whether within, or outside of a marriage, an person has "right to privacy . . . to be free from unwarranted governmental intrusion into matters so fundamentally affecting a person as the decision to bear or beget a child". This was a mere year before the infamous 'Roe v. Wade' decision that allowed the legalization of abortion, though still allowing individual states to set general boundaries, or guidelines within the right to an abortion.

It's all about freedom, you see. America is a free country, we are free to choose anything from the food we eat, the books we read, or the clothing that we wear. We are free to live our lives in whatever way we deem fit. That doesn't mean that we lead lives of complete virtue, or that we are the epitome of perfection because of our choices. But this leaves us to answer for our own actions, instead of those that the government imposes upon us. When I reach judgment day and I stand before my maker, I will have to defend my own actions,
