I had suffered for years with dry and callused feet. I hated people seeing my feet but at the same time, I am a barefoot kind of gal. When I came across this body wash from Dial that contained vanilla scent and yogurt extract, I read the bottle. It claimed that the yogurt extract was supposed to cure up dry skin. So I got to thinking about using just plain yogurt that you can buy in the big tubs. Here is my story.
I went to the dairy section and picked myself up a nice big tub on plain yogurt to use. I took it home and decided that since my feet were my driest areas I would put the yogurt to the test on my feet. Well I did not want the yogurt inside my socks yet I did not want it on the carpet either when going to wash it off. Therefore, I decided that I would wrap my feet up in plastic wrap to hold the yogurt on without any mess.
I took my yogurt and plastic wrap to the bathroom and hung my feet over the tub. I applied the yogurt heavily onto my feet and wrapped the up in the plastic wrap. I was then on my way to the couch to watch on of my favorite shows. The show was on for an hour so I stayed put until the end of the show. When the show was over, I went back into the bathroom and rinsed the yogurt off with just plain warm water. I could already feel a difference in my feet.
Since my feet were massively dry and had severe calluses on them, I decided to use the yogurt on my feet at least once a night while watching television. After a week, my feet were soft and the discoloration from the dry skin was gone as were the calluses. To keep it up I now use yogurt on my feet twice a week. I also use the yogurt on any other parts of my body that start to get dry to clear it right up.
As some advice to help you along with clearing up your dry feet with yogurt, I will advice you on how to deal with the cold. Since you are not going to be eating any of the yogurt it all right to heat the entire tub up with each use. Just place a pan on the stove to with water to boil. Place the tub of yogurt into the pan and heat until it is warm enough for you to place on your feet. Do not forget to place what is left in the tub back in to the refrigerator until the next time you need it.
