Should we be banning certain dog breeds?

The banning of any dog breed in general is as preposterous as banning children who lash out and bite other kids (hey, it happened once or twice). Law and government officials aren't understanding the real issue here. The issue isn't the dogs breed at all- it's humans. All any dog wants to do is please his/her owner to the best of their ability. How is it the dogs fault for being rewarded for, lets say, "unethical behavior"? Is this not the same as parents not disciplining their children for the things that they may do to a worst extent of what a dog could even think of doing.

Maybe, just maybe, there might be something wrong with society. The people are the problems! HELLO! How hard is that to understand? Everyone wants to blame something else. Everyone hurts something on a daily basis, but a dog- they just want to hear, "Good Boy". It's because of the drain on society "thugs" that give athleticly inclined dogs get a bad name. If you teach any dog to kill something, it's going to go insane and result ack to the natural instincts of the canine in the first place. No matter what kind of dog it is, it's still a canine in nature. You cannot expect to domesticate a wild animal fully. No matter how long you have had the dog, natural intincts never go away. If we are going to ban one type of dog, we should ban them all. Now, doesn't that sound a bit over the top? Then why is banning one breed because of other people's mistakes fully acceptable?

Everyone has their own opinions on this issue, as to which we are entitled to. Take the Pit Bull Terrier(or anything that resembles one) ban in Ontario. These dogs cannot run here, these dogs cannot play in the park here and all because of what? The media giving bad press, and do you know why? It makes a great story. It sells. You don't hear of the cases of bravery, and loyalty that banned breeds do accomplish. Take a Pit Bull Terrier from London, Ontario Canada. The dog was awoken to the family's home enraged in a fire. The dog ran to the bedroom and dragged the man to safety. He is alive and well, but if his Pit Bull didn't drag him from the smoke-filled home, the outcome would have been much more grim.

Next time you hear about a Pit Bull attack, maybe you should think about all the times they were beaten with bats, burnt with boiling water, starved, and broken souled. Yeah, it's the dogs fault.
