The secret to cleaning bathrooms is having the right products and a little elbow power to get the job done. A sparkling clean bathroom is the first things guests notice when visiting your home. If the bathroom has grime buildup and hair on the sink, your guest will be disgusted and won't want to come back. There is nothing more relaxing than stepping into a clean and fresh bathroom.
Gather cleaning rags, cleaning products, scrubber brushes, toilet brush, broom, and mop. Any old cleaning rag will do fine. You can cut up old t-shirts to use. Choosing the right cleaning product depends on how much money one wants to spend, but liquid soap works just fine. Fill a bucket with hot water and the soap. A scrubber brush is very helpful in the ring in the tub.
Start with the bathtub. Remove all the shampoos, soaps, and anything else from the bathtub. Dip the cleaning rag in the bucket and begin washing the shower walls. Pay attention to the grout areas and get rid of excess dirt. If the cleaning rag doesn't seem to get the dirt off, use a scrubber brush. The hard bristles on these brushes loosens the dirt. Next, rinse the shower wall and tub. Move the shampoos, soaps, and bath toys back to the shower.
Pour the toilet cleaning solution in the toilet bowl and scrub with a toilet brush. Scrub all around the bowl and especially at the top rim where the water flows into the toilet. A lot of mildew and dark spots can form under the rim. Wipe down the outside of the bowl. Hairspray, hair, and dust can collect on the lid and along the bottom near the floor. Remove this dirt with the cleaning rag.
Remove everything from the sink and counter tops. Wipe down with the cleaning rag. Return items to the sink.
Now, sweep the floor with the broom. Use the cleaning rag around baseboards where hair and lint builds up. Keep your water bucket handy to rinse out your rag often. Then mop the floor, starting from the back of the room and heading toward the door.
Now you're finished! Sticking to this method completes the job in less than thirty minutes. A beautiful bathroom is necessary when expecting visitors. Everyone loves to walk into a clean porcelain bathroom. You will enjoy seeing the result of your hard work also. Remember, a beautiful bathroom is a clean bathroom and is quite easy to achieve!
