I decided to write this article, because I feel it is relevant in today's society, where there are more and more unemployed, stay at home mothers and those who have health reasons that keep them in their homes. The topic I speak of, is can you make a living with the Internet. Is there a way that you can make money from the comfort of your home, without putting a strain on your family and your health. Can you make a reasonable income at home on your computer. The answers to all these questions is a resounding, Yes!

I embarked on this journey due to family commitments and my not so great health problems. Diabetes was making miss a lot of days at work, due to the fact that I was very tired and experiencing a great deal of insomnia common among diabetics. Problems with my extremities were also keeping me from being on my feet the long hours required in my chosen profession. Another problem was the rising cost of child care and the quality of the care that would be given to my young children. So those two extenuating circumstances caused me to stay at home. However, staying at home came with a terrible price, the quality of life was deteriorating on one income in a household with a large number of children and we were noticing that debt issues were unavoidable on my husbands income alone.

I decided that I would find a way to make a living in my home, I started numerous small businesses which all were just as demanding as the job I left for health reasons. So I read some articles written about making money on the Internet, through an interesting site called Helium. Some of the people at this blog spot had real and interesting ideas about this area of money making opportunity. I started to think that maybe this was something that I could do. My search began by compiling a list of work from home opportunities available to someone like me. After an extensive search using Google and Ask.com I found that there were literally thousands of opportunities, but which of them were legitimate and which were scams was a question that plagued me. However through months of trial and error I came up with a list of ones that work.
