There are many ways to give a good resume cover letter. The best site I have seen to help with that is http://jobstar.org/tools/resum e/index.cfm. Just click on About cover letters at the bottom of the page and it will go step by step details on the best way to form a great cover letter. This page also has sample cover letter for a better understanding and a cover letter templet which shows you the format of a cover letter. Below is an example of my own cover letter. It short sweet and to the point. I know that when you do write a cover letter you do not want to use the "I" refrence a lot. Try to refraise so that every sentence or every other word is not 'I did this, I can do that....etc.'

Here is one of my own:
Dear Employer;

I have recently moved to North Western Arkansas, and am very interested in the current position(alaways use name of position you are applying for) you have available (or saw the advertisment in the newspaper for _. This opportunity is what I have been looking for.)

My work experience includes a number of years in the secretarial/clerical field in a hospital enviroment. I have provided quality customer service, both in person and over the phone, and pride myself on my capabilities in this area. I also have accurate keyboard and data entry skills, and have performed volume work with strict attention to both detail and deadlines.
