It seems that body wash is taking the health and beauty world by storm and in the process, bar soap sales are slipping. Is the soap that we use until it becomes a tiny sliver reaching extinction? Does it mean the end to dry skin, soap residue, and continually squinting through suds-filled eyes as we stumble around looking for the pesky bar that just squirted out of our foamy fingers?
Actually, body wash is quite amazing and it does seem that most consumers are passing by super-market displays of bar soap and reaching for some of that scented body wash that beckons. Just walk into one of those bath shops and take in the marvelous aromas of mandarin, lime, and apple, that you might think you just walked into the middle of an orchard.
Just think, open that bottle and you will find a beautiful, aromatic, and thick gel that is a world away from unwrapping a bar of soap that will soon become a scummy mess in your soap dish. It's most likely a bar of soap that you can expect to be sharing with several other people.
Every time you open the cap on your bottle of body wash you are being given your own burst of that special scent that is yours and yours alone. You may even have 3 or 4 different scents so you can enjoy a variety of aromas depending on your particular mood on any given day.
Imagine the scent of mandarins and limes. Imagine how scintillating that would be for your senses and what better way to practice your own brand of aroma therapy? You might even run hot water into a few cupfuls in the sink and let the Heavenly aroma permeate the bathroom. What bar soap could relax and energize you like this?
The best is saved for the moment when you squeeze a bit of the smooth, aromatic gel into your hand and slide it over your tired, aching muscles. As you(or your partner) slowly massage the scented gel slowly over your body the exotic and uplifting scent will engulf your senses, and soon the stress of the day will drift away as you feel relaxed and a bit sexy all at the same time.
Have you ever tried a body wash or are you being left behind in bar soap sameness? Are you a victim of staying with what we grew up with, or are daring and willing to try something new? Take a chance and ease into the aromatic, uplifting world of scented body wash and you will leave bar soap behind, or at the very least, save it for washing off the grime after you work on the car or in the garden.
