EMOTION
uncontrollable swirling
churning around my gut
left brain reasons - this is nuts
but
almost instantly
what started simmering inside
one thought
has boiled over
into a violent rage
unable to be contained
it erupts
spewing words
which lash and cut into the heart
of one I could not bear to lose
too late
it spilled out hate
and in return
got unconditional love.
