Simple Autism Remedies
There over one hundred remedies for autism that are in use by carers and parents of autistics [1]. In this article I present a few, safe nutrient supplements that are each highly effective in more than half of all cases tried.
[First Hand Experience]
Autistics have difficulty connecting with the world and connecting with other people. When it is first diagnosed the enormity, and the reputation, of autism can potentially frighten a parent into submission or resignation. You will be told that there is no cure. Fortunately, there are a number of effective, inexpensive remedies that can be managed by parents themselves and that can bring rapid improvements in the condition of an autistic child. This article presents four remedies that have been found to work from our first hand experience as well as the cumulative evidence of thousands of parents.

(Although it is claimed by some that working for many' is not a scientific proof that they work at all this advice is provided for parents who want their children to get well soon. The first three remedies have worked well for us already. The fourth, removing heavy metal toxins from the body, is a longer term remedy that is supported by evidence at the site below and many other autism related web sites [5]).
[One Hundred Remedies]
There over one hundred remedies for autism that are in use by carers and parents of autistics [1]. The authors of the report carried out an Internet survey to identify treatments used by parents of children with autism. The survey listed 111 treatments and was distributed with the help of the Autism Society of America and internationally. The report comprises analysis of more than 500 detailed responses. Since autism is a complex condition, it is not surprising that treatments involve a number of different approaches used in combination. On average the parent / carers used as many as seven different remedies.
[Different Approaches]
These remedies include:
Speech therapy (the most common at about 70% of respondents); as well as
Sensory skills training;
Sensory integration techniques;
Applied Behaviour Analysis;
and a wide range of other treatments involving nutrients and diet.
In this article we look at dietary interventions and vitamin supplements since these can be easily implemented by the families of autism sufferers.
