Britney Spears is not only a danger to her children; she is a danger to herself and society as a whole. Anyone who has watched the news these past months has to know that her behavior involving her children, herself and those around her is so completely questionable that it leaves me wondering if the reasons she's not put away is because the media is having so much fun exposing her emotional breakdown.

Interesting news sells, couple that with a highly recognized celebrity's bizarre antics, and no one is going to stop the circus. Britney is helping others rake in thousands of dollars everyday all due to the fact that we want to see her in an emotional state that is bordering on the road to disaster. In fact, her behavior is so unbelievable that it wouldn't surprise me to wake up one morning to find that her life has been taken, either by an intentional self inflicted act, or simply caused by her own reckless endangerment.

Wake up Hollywood, this is not entertainment, this is a desperate call for attention.

With a mother's behavior so out of control, how can we even ask the question as to whether or not she is a danger? The court has already made a decision that proves she is. Yet, when is the court going to bring her in as a danger to herself? No one in their right mind would continue to act as she has without being seen as someone with severe mental deficiencies; do we need to watch her spiral downward so much that we aren't even seeing that she is a human being with severe emotional problems? Or is her being such a huge celebrity so important that we'd rather stand by and watch her fall into the hole that she's been digging for herself for so many months?

If someone doesn't step in and help this girl, her boys will be left with more the just an absent parent; they'll be left with only the memory of her.

Yes, Britney is a danger to her children, and she will continue to be until she gets the help she so desperately needs. However, in Hollywood, money buys time, it buys ignorance and it often results in lives being snuffed out because no one took behaviors seriously. This isn't a game Britney is playing; she may think it is, but she's using an out-of-control mind when acting. When a woman who claimed she loved her children as much as Britney said she did engages in activities that are so far removed from thoughts of gaining back custody; something isn't right.

Britney is no where near finished with her bizarre antics, and the media is in no way ready to give up on the opportunity to make money from someone who feeds their wallets with unnoticed cries for help.

If the judge in the custody case really cared for those two little boys, he'd order Britney into a facility that would help her gain back what she so desperately needs; a sound, stable, functional mind.

Little did we know that her first video, "Oops, I did it again", would truly be the way her life played out years later. I just hope someone steps in soon before Britney becomes another tragic Hollywood statistic.
