Tips for renting a moving van

Tips for renting a moving van..
well when it comes to moving there are certain things you will definitely have to consider, cuz lets face that hatch back civic sure might look sporty but it makes a terrible pack mule(moving rig). There's always the classic U-haul rental service that was established in the mid 40's. But with resent reports of failure to keep their rigs roadworthy, kind of makes you think twice before taking that root .So with your civic and U-haul off your list what does that leave you? Before you can answer that you must know the distance you are moving to and how many trips will you be making? I've all ways found moving the easiest sailing when you know someone who owns a truck or you yourself owns a truck, because even if your not the one with the truck usually a "2-4" (24 beer) and some gas money can usually muster up a good crew of lifters and luggers as well as the truck. Just make sure you're the one driving. or reward afterwards tends to attract less workers but is your safest bet! In the case you're moving a great distance and the local gents arn't able to follow you some 50thousand some K on a single 2-4, rather than get them drunker and drop them off 3 blocks from your new house it's probably a lot nicer to rent a truck or van from Budget car rentals .They have a good reputation, have branches across the country (to return the truck to)and You'll arrive at your new home not smelling like vomit and stale beer your U-haul didn't haul you over and down a canyon, and your civic still looks sporty even with the pillows and quilts jammed in the back seat. However There's another solution my father used when we moved here (Prince Edward Island) from Massachusetts in 94. My father being a very creative and logical, decided to buy an old school bus remove all the seats except the drivers seat and the front 2, put a wall up, loaded all our stuff, drove up here and sold it to a pig farmer for more money than we paid for it!
So I hope my little blurb on Tips for renting a moving van has helped all you happy people who are just so looking forward to that moving day..
