I have believed that you can make money online for a few years now. I ran across the ProBlogger one day and thought, wow, making money blogging. Of course I didn't do anything. Instead I went on will life and continued on with living. Then I read about Steve Pavlina's success. He believes no one should work a real job. With that in mind, we started our first blog.

So, can anyone really make money online?
Yep. You can, I can, we all can. However, it takes time, energy, and it also takes finding your niche. Many people get online and they hope to find a great way to earn money very quickly. They want the get rich program (though not the scam) and they are hoping it is easy and they can quit their job today.

Before you quit your job, remember that working online is much like starting a small business. While it doesn't take financial investment, it does take an investment of time and energy. In the beginning it does pay enough to make it worth while. It takes time to find out what you want to do and to develop it enough to make money from it.

There are lots of money making options and a combination them works well for most people. Some of them are writing, blogging, and pay-to websites. You can slowly build many passive incomes and can make more and more money with these options.

Writing
There are several websites where you can write articles for making money. Most pay according to page views or through revenue sharing. Some of these websites include Helium, Triond, Hubpages, and Squidoo. Associated Content pays according to page views and sometimes an upfront payment. Constant Content lets you place your articles on their site and then sell them for a price that you set (sharing a portion of it with CC). You can also write how to articles for places like ehow.com or howtodothings.com. Then there are sites you can write a review for including Shared Reviews, Review Stream, and epinions.com. This is by no means a complete list, but it is a good start.

Blogging
Blogging can make money with ads such as Google Adsense. Blogs can also make money through affiliate marketing and other ad programs. Over time this alone can be a good income. However you can also make money from ad posts using programs such as PayPerPost, Sponsored Reviews, CREAMaid, Blogsvertise and others. You write an ad post, post it on your blog, and get paid for it.

Pay-to
There are a ton of paid to programs. You can get paid to join programs, paid to click on links, paid to read e-mails and more. Many of these sites really do pay. It takes time and effort. Additionally in order to make a lot of money you either have to buy or build a down line with referrals.

There are new money making ideas online all the time. You can work hard to find different things and see what works for you. The more computer and software knowledge you have the easier it will be for you to do a wide variety of money making options. Whatever you decide to do to make money online, be patient and remember it is about building up your business.
