Tyrannosaur, No More

The archeologists contend
The dino is extinct,
And yet, for some, his angry end
Has not been so succinct.

She had a strong and sturdy man,
A true Tyrannosaur;
Where he did end and she began,
He simply would ignore.

He stomped and strutted his domain,
Amid his rant and rail.
On those he loved, he cast his pain
With his tremendous tail.

His angry, mashing, gnashing jaws,
They never ceased to flap
With his agenda, without cause,
All others to entrap.

For generations, he enforced
His will upon his brood,
And with his rage, he reinforced
Rebellious attitude.

Until an Ice Age all their own
Froze out his every move.
And now, he wears his dino crown
With nothing left to prove.
