Should America attack Iran?

Iranian regime is playing an all or nothing card on the Nuclear issue, the cleric's are worried, they feel if they negotiated with the United States and excepted their terms, and took a lot of carrots for it, the American administration will continuously seek regime change in Iran.

Most fear, that Iran may end up overplaying this Nuclear hand, causing a confrontation with the United States. Iranian regime have to realize they must give up their cause and focus on running a country. The Shia regime is seeking hegemony in the Middle East regions, working diligently to consolidate the Shia population in the region.

The last war between Hezbollah and the Isreal's displayed the power play of Iran, within the Middle East region. In my assessment, Iran's goal's are mainly towards the city of (Mecca) in Saudi Arabia. This was the primary goal of Ayatollah Khomeini's Revolution of 1979, soon after Khomeni's return from exile, there was an attempt by a group of Khomeini followers, during a Hajj or Pilgrimage month to capture, and take control of the Holy Mosque in Mecca.

The Saudi Arabian's were incapable, of suppressing this uprising by the Shia radical group.

Eventually the French commando's had to intervene on behalf of the Saudis and stormed the basement of the Holy Mosque, where the perpetrator's were hiding and regain control of the Holy Mosque.

The Mullah's in Iran are extremely ambitious, and are counting on the Shia populations to conquer the region. The Nuclear issue gives them power and credibility, with the youth, which accounts for approximately 50 million in Iran.

At this point an attack on Iran seems eminent, most nations in the Middle East are worried, if Iran is left unchecked and is able to acquire Nuclear technology, it would most certainly cause havoc within the region.

The recent incident in the Persian Gulf, where the speed boats continuously antagonized the battleship, and nearly provoke an all out war in the region, is a clear indication of Iranian feeling overconfident, due to the over stretched military of United States vis-s-vis Iraq, and around the region.
