You want fresher, healthier skin, with enhanced surface qualities and absorption? Consider microdermabrasion treatments. Other benefits include collagen regeneration, increased blood flow, and reduction in the appearance of scars, acne, wrinkles and dark spots. Microdermabrasion also enhances the penetration of other skin care products you use. In time your skin can become softer, less sensitive, and more hydrated.
Average skin renewal takes four to five weeks in a healthy young adult. This process slows with age and abuse. Long term overexposure to sunlight causes your facial skin cell renewal process to slow and your skin to thicken. This shields the under-layer of the skin and prevents further damage, but leaves you looking leathery and worn. The opposite effect can be noticed with microdermabrasion.
