Love
It came over me as I sat there, scared,
humble and unsure
It came to me like the rays of the sun, creeping across the floor,
gently touching my face and giving me warmth.
It came, out of nowhere, all my

Renewed blood sped all through me, the world looked brighter, more intense
Simple noises sounded sweeter, tears sprang forth from my eyes
as if there was no more room left inside me
It came right to me,
Surrounded and swallowed me, silenced my hurt.
Comforted.
This feeling, it comforted me,
Wrapped me in an embrace,
kissed my lips and my eyes,
Made me whole
