From the outset, one could say that recently i have experienced an odd set of coincidences. But since my life revolves around strange and powerful spirit energies, recent events actually made me smile in a humbling vote of thanks.

As a spiritualist medium, I have known for a while that spiritualism is inherent in my family. A distant relative of mine (Gordon M Higginson)was a great spiritualist medium, and president of the spiritualists national union (SNU). I am fully aware of how interesting incidents and how strange things can catch you off guard. But i wasn't expecting the last couple of days to be quite an interesting development.

The story finds itself with my dad. He goes to the gym on a regular basis, takes a spinning class etc. He got talking to a man who has involvement in a restaurant, which has recently opened in the area which i live. He mentioned that I was looking for work, since my current employment situation is perhaps a little topsy turvy,and has been for some considerable time. The man in question, said to drop his assistant a line, who handles all of the hiring and firing of the establishment. I contacted her a couple of days back, and she got back to me last night offering me a full time position as a chef.

Heres the clincher - The venue used to be a beautiful spiritualist church, but has for some time been disused. The restaurant maintains the impressive and beautiful ambiance of the church that was, and it is an open kitchen, so the customers can see the chefs working etc. It really would be a dream to work there. The energy is tremendous.

I never myself visited the church hen it was a working venue for spiritualism, but i know that my forefathers in the spiritualist movement did, and the impression i got was that they had been moving things around and helping me to find my way there. It really is an exciting an joyous development.

It just surprised me that one area of my life could easily integrate with another, so harmoniously. I am going to call her later today to arrange a starting date etc. The food is beautiful too. I'm actually quite excited!
