door also barking and growling. Then I weight of the situation hit me like a rock, literally. Two African-American men had kicked in my entry door to rob my home. As I veered the corner I was hit in the face knocking me flat on my butt. Now naked and without my glasses I groped for anything to use as a weapon, these men were huge! I threw and swung anything I could as I scrambled to the back of the house to reach safety. I screamed "Jackyll dog, HELP!" I continued to call for my dog as I fought off my attackers. I, a small 100 lb. young girl, was being hit and kicked by two large men. Only by shear adrenaline did I manage to continue to claw my way through the attack, still crying for my dog. I finally reached the hallway, I was almost to my bedroom. I continued to think "If I can just reach the door and let the dog out I may have a chance to get my gun". The men had pinned me down in front of my bedroom door, on top of me they relentlessly beat me, smashing my head into the floor. Jackyll finally manged to bust through the door, in a flash he jumped on one man tearing through his skin like a steak. I kicked, clawed, and bit the other man off me and scrambled into the room. As I reached the gun inside the doorway, the man grabbed my hair pulling me down to the ground. Jackyll hopped on top of me in a protection stance and sprung up into the man's face, grabbing onto his throat. The man tried to fight off the dog but Jackyll had gripped on tight and was not letting go. In one swift move he shook his head one final time ripping a huge chunk of the man's throat/neck area out. Not sure about the other attacker I grabbed the shotgun and headed into the kitchen. There was a trail of blood but no body. I headed out the door finding the man crawling to his car. Jackyll had shredded his face, arm, and leg. I placed the shotgun on the back of his head and said " Move and I blow it off!"

Living on a well traveled road people were slamming on the brakes at the sight of a naked woman holding a shotgun to a man's head in a driveway. Jackyll and I held him there until the police arrived. Jackyll never backed down barking and growling right in his face as he laid there helpless and bleeding in my yard. As soon as the cops approached me I simply said "Jack thats enough, come over here." Jackyll happily rushed to my side and followed me into the ambulance. He refused to leave my side and actually rode to the hospital with me with his head laying next to mine the whole time.
