There is no doubt that Thierry Henry is the most prolific goal-scorer in football. Although there might be some sort of arguments about who is the most prolific goal-scorer between Thiery Henry and Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho is a world class player,with his amazing entertaining skills and great goals, but Thierry Henry, as far as football is concern, is the most prolific goal-scorer. Started his career with AS Monaco in 1994, 4 years later he was called up for France due to his good form. Not long, he signed for Juventus and eventually got signed for 10.5 million pounds to Arsenal. During his stay with Arsenal, Henry has scored a total of 226 goals to be the Arsenal's highest goal scorer.

Not forgetting the fact that he was influential in Arsenal's "invisible" season. Henry led his team to UEFA Champions League Finals but eventually lost out to Barcelona. During his stay at Arsenal, Henry capped, FA and Premiership Trophies, twice nominated for FIFA World Player of the Year, won the PFA Player of the year. His great moments were with Arsenal, with his blistering pace, free kicks and technique, it is very difficult for defenders to catch up with him. The most unique thing about Henry is his passion for football and his attitude towards it. Even with racial attacks he suffered, he never allowed them to change his attitude towards the game of football. He has shown that he is a capable captain and a good goal-scorer.

Henry is so deadly on the run, reads passes well, knows his position on the field and amongst defenders. Henry can solely make his way down to the goal post and with his signature move, (leans to the left of the goal, place the ball to the far end of the goal post, nearly breaking the keeper's back, making it unreachable for the keeper)

Like any other player, Henry had to leave Arsenal, He got signed to FC Barcelona for 16.1 million pounds. It is an understatement to say Henry will be greatly missed in the premiership. Though it is quite impossible to measure him up with strikers like,Ronaldinho Pele, Ronaldo, Guiseppe Signori and Gabriel Bastituta. It is therefore conclusive to say that he his just as good as these legends if not better. Henry for me is the number one pick of the most prolific goal-scorer in football.
