Apple cider vinegar is a powerhouse. It's a natural and effective home remedy that is used in a variety of ways. It has long been proven to have healing properties and rich sources of vitamins and minerals.

Apple cider vinegar is made from fresh apples that have been fermented. Once this long fermentation process is completed, the vinegar is ready to be used for many purposes.

Unfiltered and non pasteurized apple cider vinegar is the best source for home remedies.

BEAUTY TREATMENTS.

* Detoxify: Detoxifying treatments cleanses and flushes out harmful toxins from vital organs like the liver and kidney. Ailments and diseases caused by toxins include cancer, heart disease, and kidney problems. These problems can wreak havoc on your skin.

Drink 2 teaspoons daily diluted in 1 glass of filtered water to purify your body and to promote healing.

* Facial toner: If you want beautiful skin, use acv as a toner. The antiseptic properties in the vinegar allow your pores to open up. A high consistency of alpha-hydroxy acids invigorates and stimulates the skin for a more youthful appearance.

Mix 1 teaspoon of acv with a one cup of spring water and splash it all over your
face. Alternatively, dab the acv on a cotton swab and pat your face with it.

* Hair rinse: Using acv as a hair rinse is excellent for keeping your hair healthy. The vinegar gently removes buildup and residue from daily shampooing and conditioning. It leaves hair soft and shiny and stimulates new hair follicles.

Leave the rinse on the hair for 3 to 5 minutes, and then rinse it out. The vinegar odor doesn't linger once the hair is dry.

* Dandruff: Bacteria, fungus, stress and excessive blow-drying of the hair causes dandruff and itchy scalp.

Mix 1 part acv with 3 parts warm water to restore the pH balance in the scalp.
Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, rinse, and then follow up with a mild shampoo.

* Lighten age spots: Age spots are benign discolorations found on the face and back of the hands. Sun damage and the aging process are prime culprits.

Dab acv directly on the age spots. Results will not be noticeable for several months but you will achieve younger looking skin.

* Sunburn/Skin burns: ACV provides effective relief from painful burns. Apply acv directly to the burns or as use as a cold-compress for soothing relief. This also helps to prevent further blistering, itching, and peeling of the skin.

Add a cup of acv to warm bathwater. Soak in the tub for 15 minutes.

* Athlete's foot: Your feet should look nice too. ACV is effective in eliminating unpleasant fungal infections.

Soak your feet in an equal solution of acv and water several times a day (for
continuous days) until the condition improves.
