Talented songtress Alicia Keys is at it again! This time it's not for putting out hit music. Ms Keys has embarked on a more fufilling movement. One that has everyone interested. As a spokes person for the Keep I t Alive nonprofit foundation she traveled to different parts of Africa (Capestown,Soweto,Johannesburg ) inoder to acess and help the accepted but dangerous epidimec AIDs. Alicia first got into the movement in 2002 when she was asked to headline the Staying Alive beneifit concert in Capetown. During her stay she met all people from different walks of life who did and didn't have AIDs. Embracing their culture and hearing there stories influeneced her decision to hop on the bandwagon along with founder Leigh Blake. Knowing that all the people wanted was treatment and that the cost to provide the medicine was as low as a dollar a day seemed like a no brainer. Though the act of helping fellow humans is nice the feeling of of hope was better.
