The best ways to learn how to maintain a computer

I've learned how to maintain my personal computer fairly well after many years of experience and 4 personal personal computers later. Yes, it is hard at first to encounter all the trials and tribulations to your specific personal computer model type. I prefer the desk tops because I don't want to carry it around with me given the opportunity to drop it and then falling into a million bits.

I've learned to maintain my personal computer by keeping them off the floor where all the dust accumulates. My girlfriend said that her's gave out after her fan got clogged up with dust and dirt from the floor level. That is why I keep my personal computer tower on the table with my printer as well. Nothing is on the floor level where all the dust balls are.

Now that we got everything dusted off I want to proceed about habits of personal computer use. Are you one that plays more computer games? Or, are you one that downloads everything in sight? From my experience the Technical Support to my personal computer said not download anything unless I call them first. My trouble is that I tried to download many enticing download features for my personal computer that only boggled it up to be frozen.

If you are in the habit of freezing up your computer like I used to, take a lesson from me.
'Download' can be a dirty word in the personal computer industry. You have to be very careful what you download. So, the only thing I download now is virus protection software. It can be purchased and downloaded once yearly so you don't have to fuss much with it.

With this virus protection software you can work at your personal computer without being terrorized by outsider's dirty deeds. Yes, there are buggers out there waiting to take your computer out. I recently bought and downloaded my new virus protection software. It includes spy-ware and firewall protection too. I can be rest assured that outsiders won't invade my personal computer.

Other types of invasions are your own bad habits of usage on your particular personal computer. Do you have any bad habits that you don't realize? The personal computer is constantly being upgraded. You too have to follow the updated upgrades or be left behind in the stone age that doesn't run the new software at all.

Yes, there is always constant automatic updates that are loaded into my computer until it will no longer run on my hardware and that is the time when you have to consider purchasing a new personal computer. Considering a new personal computer or upgrading your old one is a choice. But, do you really have all the latest features on your older computer? I doubt it. I opt to replace my personal computer in about once every 4 or 5 year time spans thus far. You too can be a smooth operator and know the best ways to learn how to maintain your personal computer.

I had both personal computer experience and personal computer schooling to help me along these past 17 years of operating personal computers.
