the US. Meanwhile Iran actually seems to be trying to start a war with the US. Only drooling idiots believe that Iran's nuclear program is for peaceful purposes. It's probably only a matter of time before there's another horrific Islamic terrorist attack on the West.
Zech 6:1-8 sounds a lot like a poetic description of 9/11. It also refers to horses of four different colours, suggesting that it's linked to Rev 6:1-8. If you pair up the directions from Zechariah and the disasters from Revelation according the colours of the horses, you get: North expensive food (economic problems), West conquest, South death, not specified (presumably east or central) peace being taken from the earth. If you assume the directions are from Jerusalem, these fit very well with recent events. This passage ends with, "They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth." Many prophecies suggest that the restoration of Israel will result from a war. Syria doesn't exactly have a good relationship with Israel and also seems to be trying to start a nuclear program. Zech 5 can be interpreted as a prophecy about a nuclear war between Israel and Syria ("woman" can also be translated as "fire", "thief" and "swears falsely" can mean those who distort God's word).
Both trying to extrapolate from recent events and looking at Biblical prophecies, suggest there will be a huge war with Israel and the West on one side and Islam on the other. This will somehow result in the lost tribes being reunited with the Jews and the full restoration of Israel. I very much hope I'm wrong about the first part. I suspect and hope that virtually everybody wants peace. The real question is if you're willing and able to give what it takes to have it. Are you willing to sacrifice freedom of speech and religion, convert to another religion, have sexism enshrined in law or allow genocide? Do you think your values are worth fighting for? If your enemy won't negotiate or won't keep their side of an agreement or keeps pushing for a compromise more their way (like wanting more land for more peace), peace can become extremely difficult or impossible to attain.
