How will Chelsea cope without Jose Mourinho?

Mourinho, undoubtedly, is a very good coach having won the UEFA Champions League with FC Porto. Not forgetting that he trained and managed players like Deco, Carvalho, Paulo Ferreria, and the likes. However, a move to Chelsea saw a change in his career has he faced tougher opponents and bigger calendar matches. During his stay at Stamford Bridge,Chelsea FC never lost an home game in the Premiership, got to 2 semi-final stages of the UEFA Champions League, won Carling Cup and the Premiership twice. He was also influential in bringing in some players like Drogba and Essien. However, he was referred to as "arrogant" because of his style of addressing the press.

With More than 3 years of dedicated service to Chelsea FC, one will begin to ask how will Chelsea cope without Jose Mourinho? (In fact, I was beginning to think he was going to be Chelsea's sir Alex Ferguson.)

But the fact still remains that He will be missed and he's style of play, despite being tagged "boring". One thing that we all have failed to realize is that Mourinho "boring" style of play helped Chelsea to win crucial matches. Matches which are destined to head for a draw somehow ends up 1-0 in favor of Chelsea. Not to mention that his half time talks with the players are always encouraging.

There is no doubt that he will be greatly missed and Chelsea owes its recent success to Mourinho. It is no doubt that some players want to leave the Club. But can Chelsea cope without Jose Mourinho? The answer is Yes. Mourinho is a very good manager, no doubts about that. But what we fail to realize is that there is always room for improvements. A good manager like Mourinho had some minor flaws, which are expected. He seldom makes mistakes which I think are unacceptable for a manager of his standards. Bringing in another manager will be the best for Chelsea because the new manager will note and improve on Mourinho flaws. Maybe bring some excitements to Chelsea's game and get the crowd to love and appreciate good football. (Maybe that is the missing piece in the puzzle.) As for me, Chelsea made two big mistakes this season, letting Mourinho and Robben go. What were they thinking!
