As if we needed more steroid articles to plague our minds. As if Hip Hop needed anything else to tarnish it's already tarnished image. It is as if the very people who are throwing out the accusations (politicians, trainers who have already made a deal with the prosecutors) forget they are humans and if we do enough research we can also find all of their wrong doings.
Hip Hop is now under attack by the government once again. 50 cent, Timbaland, Mary J Blige, Wyclef Jean and even Madea herself have now been accused of either purchasing steroids or HGH. How did we go from sports where steroids are said to give an unfair advantage to hip hop? Should we now strip Mary J. Blige of all of her Grammies, Should 50 Cents 5 million album sales now be forfeited since he is listed and Kanye West is not? Are Timbaland beats and production so much better because of HGH?
If the government would like to clean up American business they should start with themselves, the politicians, judges, Big rich businesses that get catered to. It is time for Athletes and any other entertainer to put their money together and begin an investigation on our politicians. Even if the information can not be proven still investigate and release names of all politicians that have or do use drugs, cheat on their wives or husbands, kill their interns or take bribes.
America has tried to get rid of hip hop for years as their urban influence is huge. Now that the influence is throughout urban and rural areas they feel they need to step up the fight. The days of having reverends buying and crushing the CD's are gone, MTV stops playing videos then BET arrives. Ah Ha! I got it how about we tell them they can not use profanity. Tried that and it got bigger. So we tried the Bible, and the Constitution and the FCC and nothing worked.
Well Washington I hate to be the bearer of bad news but steroids and HGH will not stop Hip Hop. If nothing else it makes me want to go buy each of their albums and Tyler Perrys' screen plays just so it gives them a little more money for their own investigations and or attorney fees to fight these modern day witch hunts. Can't wait to see what Madea is going to do when she finds out she is on the list.
