There are lots of different types of over-the-counter cold and flu remedies. These remedies are acceptable for use for not-too-serious complications like cold and flu. However, people are advised to seek medical help when symptoms persist beyond normal. These over-the-counter drugs come with them, inscriptions explaining how they should be taken. On the inscriptions are the elements they are made of, how they should be taken, how long you expect to get cured or to see a remarkable curative change in your body. You are advised to see your doctor as soon as symptoms persist beyond what is inscribed.

- Advil Cold & Sinus:
Advil cold is normally good for children especially. Advil Cold can act as an over-the-counter cold remedy. Over-the-counter remedies are very popular, known to cure their specific kind of illnesses. Advil cold is known for treating colds, nasal decongestions, sinus, etc. You are advised to seek medical help as soon as symptoms persist or when you start experiencing some kinds of symptoms that were not there before like stomach or chest pain.

- Aleve Cold and Sinus:
Aleve cold and sinus is just like the Advil cold and sinus. It can act as an over-the-counter remedy for cold and sinus. It is very good at treating cold in children and adults. You are advised to seek medical help as soon as symptoms persist.

- Tylenol Cold:
Tylenol cold is quite popular. It can also act as an over-the-counter cold remedy. However, Tylenol is made of different structures and it is good for those who cannot swallow pills. You should read the inscription on it to know how to take it and if it for you. . You are advised to seek medical help as soon as symptoms persist.

Remember, over-the-counter remedies are not be used to treat not-too-serious ailments like cold and flu. However, a medical help should be sought for immediately symptoms persist or health becomes more complicated. In other words, you will have to see your doctor or clinician as soon as symptoms persist beyond the reasonable time. Over-the-counter remedies at great but at times, some people use them for ailments they are not meant for.
