I personally think that it would be horrible to treat cellulite as a health problem in anyway. If we do that then why stop there? Why not treat crows feet as a health problem, or those annoying wrinkles around your mouth, or how about sagging breasts, or perhaps a loose stomach. Come on! There has got to be a line drawn. I know that the medical profession would sure love to treat cellulite like a health problem. Imagine how many women would be making appointments with their physicians to get this 'problem' solved. But there has got to be time when we stop treating unnecessary things. The health care system in this country is a sad sad thing. People who desperately need treatment for many diseases let themselves go without the medication and care that they need because they cannot afford to pay the price of the high health insurance premiums every month. But as long as people run out and make insurance companies pay for unnecessary procedures, like cellulite will be, then the price of health insurance will stay so high that very few people will be able to afford it. The high consuming American people cause the health care prices to skyrocket and they don't even see the correlation between these issues. They just continue to run to their doctors over stupid reasons, why not, the insurance will pay. Thats their viewpoints. But every time that insurance pays the premiums go up and it becomes even more unattainable to people. Its just all so sad.
But I think that maybe people should stop and think about things. Do they really want and need treatment for cellulite as a health problem? Virtually ever woman deals with cellulite at some point in her life, to one extent or another. We live with it, we deal with it, we accept ourselves for who and what we are. At least, thats how I wish that most women felt. Unfortunately so many woman run out and buy creams to fight cellulite and do whatever it takes to get rid of the dreaded orange skin that I think if insurance companies paid for cellulite treatment by doctors they would be rushing out to make an appointment for the miracle 'cure'.
