My one year old daughter really takes after me. When I have to get ready to go out, I need my bag, sunnies, phone and keys. My daughter gets her bag, phone and keys and a hat. My three year old son does the same thing. Its so cute because I get them dressed and ready to go, and get every thing in the pram, then they ask me "are you ready to go yet mummy?". When it comes to understanding what i say, when I say "we are going out today" straight away they are both going to get their bags and every thing that they need for an outing ( including a change of clothes, which they also get themselves ). I watch Ellen in the mornings and as soon as I say "mummies show is on now", my daughter gets up and starts dancing. Children are just so funny at times, one day when my mother in law came over we were having a conversation of our own then my daughter started talking in her own language and what she said was so funny that we spent at least half an hour laughing about it. I am an Avon Selection and Training Representative and when I go out, I have to wear my badge and because I have two badges, my daughter likes to wear the other one. We walk around delivering the avon books, my two little ones will put the books in the mail boxes for me, and if a customer comes out side, or even a potential customer comes out, the kids will say "hello avon is here". My two older children whose ages are five and six are much the same but understand a little more of what is happening. When ever we are watching a talk show that people ask questions, my children all sit there and watch it with me and try to answer the questions that are being asked, even if they don't quite know or understand what has been said. It is so wonderful when they are learning. When it is dinner time my daughter likes to share, I will give her some thing to eat, like a biscuit or lolly or sandwich, and she will take it to her three brothers, and them come back for another, then another, then take one for herself. When I'm sick my children will come to me and ask me if there is any thing I would like them to do for me. It usually just involves them laying down next to me, then my daughter will say "are you alright mummy?". It makes you cry sometimes. When my hubby goes to work, my three year old son will help him get ready, he will get his boots, and his keys, and hat.
