The tomato found his origin in the South of America. These vegetables are very healthy and we can eat them in all the continents of the world.
Most of the tomatoes are red, but there are also some green ones.
Tomatoes are very healthy and reduce the risk of all kinds of cancer. It is also proven that it has a positive influence on the circulation of your blood in your heart, your brains and surely your muscles.
Tomatoes are also rich in nutrients like vitamins, especially A and D. It is very good for your diet, there is almost no fat in this vegetable and there is no cholestorol in it.
Tomatoes are used in many products like tomato juice, ketchup but it is also used in some cocktails like Bloody Mary and some other coctails. Of course if you use it on this way, with alcohol, it lose some of his benefits because alcohol is not good for your health if you drink it too much. Of course 1 coctail or maybe 2 can't damage your health.
It is also used in some sauces, especially if you eat pasta but also some other sauces. It is not the tomato which make these sauce a little bit unhealty but some other ingredients which are also used in this kind of sauces.
A popular use of the tomato is the tomato soup. Almost everyone likes it and if you don't use cream in this soup it is surely healthy.
