When you have the call for a registry cleaner, you have two basic choices and paid registry cleaners. Which is better to trust on your computer?
We all know you get what you pay for and when you get a free registry cleaner, you may just get a program that will remove too many files and do some serious harm to your computer. You get exactly what you pay for with some of these free registry cleaners.
A paid registry cleaner comes from a company whose name is at stake with every program and they will need to maintain a quality product to stay in business. Therefore, the registry cleaners from a company tend to be of better quality then a free registry cleaner.
I have used one of the top free registry cleaners as a test for this article and did a scan four different times. I did not make any changes I assure you; I just wanted to see if the free registry cleaner was consistent in the error reporting of my registry.
The first scan said I had 67 errors, while the second scan said there were 49 errors. The third revealed 38 errors and the fourth implied I had over on hundred errors in my computers' registry. The paid one I used revealed far less errors then the free one implied I had.
I closed the program, and did not make any changes to my registry. I would not trust my computer to a registry cleaner, which gives me four different numbers in as many scans and neither should you. This free registry cleaner that I downloaded was not worth the time to download it, so I simply uninstalled it.
Frankly, with any registry cleaner I try on my computer is run without making any changes at least three or four times. I need to see how the registry cleaner works before I actually make critical changes. I used this method for many years and recommend to my clients that they do the same.
Jv16 Power Tools is a great registry cleaner, and it is truly a bargain at under $30 for the basis version. A free trail on this registry cleaner allows you run the program with no limitations.
This way you can see exactly what it does before you make a payment. Jv16 Power Tools is a great program to help you clean your registry correctly and without any of the rampant errors with the free registry cleaners. This is a nice program and was consistent on my personal computer in trail scans.
You can download a free one or pay for a registry cleaner and the choice is easy if you value your computer. Download a few paid registry cleaners with free trials and run them on your own machine without making changes as I did.
This way you can see how consistent they are; go with the registry cleaner that best fits your needs as well as your price range.
