Do you have to attend university to get a good job?

The best job is a good job where you are happy doing what you like doing most. That job may not be a cushy job where someone is being overpaid to do practically nothing or so it would seem to you, but money is usually not a major concern if you are happy with your position and level of pay. In any case the people in those positions may look like they are not enjoying their work at all.

So it isn't necessary to attend university to get a good job if happiness is all you want from a job. If you do want a well paid job however then it is almost a basic requirement to have a degree. If you can combine happiness in your job with a high level of pay then you can be considered to have the best of both worlds.

Back before the world went mad people gained a high position and good pay simply with the acquisition of experience. They didn't need to obtain degrees to substantiate their level of expertise. No one would ever thing of suing them . On the whole the advice they handed out was sound. Life was not so complex then .

In the past many people have been hurt emotionally and also financially from people who have given them bad advice. So careful of this are most employers these days that they will not employ people with only years of experience as their credentials into positions where advice has to be substantiated by suitable qualifications. Acceptable qualifications are diplomas or better still degrees obtained only by graduating from universities.

If you want position ,power and a high paid job and are not overly concerned with happiness in a job it is absolutely essential for you to attend university to get a good job. You have a degree to state you are qualified to be put into a job that you can handle. Practical experience will then be gained over a period of time.

If you were an employer wanting someone to fill a position where the company could be sued for giving the wrong information who would you choose? If the prosecutor asked you what qualifications did your employee have to offer such advice and you said none , how would that go over in court? I think you already know the answers.
