Airwalk Compel Clogs are flexible and sturdy - perfect for wearing in the garden, around the swimming pool, in the locker room at the gym, or when you're just running errands or relaxing at home.
GO-ANYWHERE STYLING
The clogs are made of colorful, waterproof plastic with one-piece molded construction that combines the out-sole, the mid sole, and the upper in one unit. Diamond-shaped ventilation holes decorate the upper toe of the clog and keep your feet from getting too sweaty in the summertime; triangular vents around the edge of the upper perform the same function.
An embossed diamond pattern on the out-sole provides traction and gives this clog a funky, edgy look.
A plastic strap, decorated with embossed diamonds that match the vents on the upper, attaches to either side of the upper with plastic rivets. The strap swivels at the rivets, so it can be worn at the back of the heel or nestled as a decorative detail along the edge of the upper.

MAN-MADE MATERIALS
Airwalk Compel Clogs are constructed entirely of man-made materials, which appeals to environmentalists and others looking for vegan shoes or footwear.
The clogs come in a variety of solid colors and patterns; sizes range from toddler to adult, in full and half sizes. The shoe size is molded in the plastic on the bottom of the shoe, so siblings who have the same color clogs in different sizes can tell them apart.
Shoes are available at Payless ShoeSource retail shoe stores and at www.payless.com at prices ranging from $13.99 for Prewalk (toddler) sizes to $19.99 for adult sizes. Airwalk Compel Clogs are made in China.
PRODUCT RECALL
Airwalk Compel Clogs in Prewalk Sizes 3 through 10 were the subject of a consumer product safety recall in May 2007 because the plastic rivet on the clog detached and created a choking hazard for young children.
The recalled clogs are no longer on store shelves, but consumers who bought Airwalk Compel Clogs for toddlers last spring should check the rivets on their children's shoes.
For more information on the recall, visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission web site at http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/pr erel/prhtml07/07171.html.
