I won't bore you with all the pros and cons of different cereal brands .That may only serve to confuse you. Some poeple really can't see the trees for the the forest ,or to put it another way ,can't see anything that is already staring them in the face. It is so simple to choose between the different cereal brands.
Ever since birth you have had the equipment needed to choose what you liked to eat. That piece of equipment is your tongue.Taste is number one and always will be no matter what you eat. First and foremost you have to choose a cereal that tastes good.
Now I will assume that if after two mouthfuls of a cereal that you haven't tried before makes you want to throw up because of its vile taste then you would not be in any hurry to visit the supermarket to buy another packet . You may even want to donate it to your worst enemy or consider taking it back to the supermarket for a refund .If so do be a bit more inventive than simply saying you mistook the cereal for poison. A good reason for refund is usually that you found an objectionable object in the contents when you opened the box. Skip the explanation that the objectionable item just happened to be the entire contents .
Next time you may wish to put taste at the top of the list. Unfortunately cereals that good are usually full of sugar and fats. They may taste good but what's the good of eating chocolate coated rice puffs when you run the risk of ending up looking like a chocolate coated rice puff yourself .Spend some time looking for a low sugar low fat cereal. That may take time.
Your next step is to arrive at the supermarket when it first opens and check out all the different cereal brands to find one that satisfies your taste buds and is low in sugar and fat. Try to ignore the looks of other shoppers as you pour over the labels describing the contents and jot down notes. Just before closing time as you rush towards the check out counter make sure you haven't chosen the most expensive cereal on the shelves.
Your other half may not appreciate spending half the grocery bill on your cereal if you acquire a taste for it. The other half may seriously doubt the health benefits of a low sugar ,low fat cereal if you are already overweight or just big boned as you prefer to think of yourself. Actually the new cereal could in fact leave a bad taste in the mouth of your other half and make her sick when she thinks of all the money being spent on it.
You could always do what I do to make it simple to choose between cereal brands. Just choose the one that tastes good and do thirty minutes minimum exercise each day .That way the cereal never gets wasted ,you don't have to overly concern yourself with yout waist line, but best of all you don't have to spend hours and hours at the supermarket reading all those labels regarding the contents.
