It has to be Baron Davis of the Golden State Warriors. I can not tell you how many games this man has single handedly won for the Warriors. He can penetrate and make layups, dribble like no other, and rock and roll from the three point line. The reason that he is so underrated is because he is a Point Guard. In the NBA, some of the best players are point guards including Steve Nash, Tony Parker, Chris Paul and many more. And that is just in the Western Conference. Baron has played on the Charlotte Hornets, and the Warriors and neither team was ever good enough to get him recognition. We all saw Steve Nash play with that disgusting bloody nose in last years playoffs and witness Tony Parker dominate the floor and win three NBA championships with the San Antonio Spurs. In case you did not know, Baron Davis is the leading scorer among point guards in the NBA and not far behind Steve Nash in the assists category. He is the leader of a young Warriors team an was the reason they got to the 2nd round of the playoffs last year. He is also the reason that they are doing above average this year. Because he doesn't play for dominant teams, he doesn't get many all-star votes except from his own city. This year everyone is making an effort to put him on their ballots. Even the Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony realized this when he told his fans to vote for Baron Davis this year. Baron can fly high as we saw last year when he dunked over Andrei Kirelinko (AK-47) and he has mad 3-4 game winning buckets for the Warriors since his arrival two years ago. He is the leader of his club and everyone including the fans respect him greatly. He always 110% on the floor and leaves his blood and sweat there as well. He has a tremendous heart and I hope that you can see why he deserves to be an all-star. Watch any Warriors game and you will be amazed at how good he actually is.
