Is the parking space in front of your house really yours? I thought it was, up until recently. My husband and I moved into a house that has no garage or driveway, so we have to park on the street. We have a neighbor who lives across the street from us, and on that side of the street, all of the houses have off street parking. This particular neighbor has a very long driveway, and a garage, but for some reason, he keeps parking his car in front of our house. Now we aren't that difficult that it would be such a big problem, but this person is parking in front of our house, and we end up having to park way down the street, or around the corner. The really irritating thing about it is that our neighbor will be sitting on the porch and SEE us having to park down the street or around the corner, but he won't even come and move his car. Now, we would be wrong if we decided to go ahead and park in his driveway, right? Of course we would, and I can't see anything positive coming from us approaching him to discuss the matter. So I decided to contact the local authorities. Unfortunately, I found that we have no legal alternative to eliminate the problem. As long as this person is parked legally, he isn't doing anything wrong.
Life isn't fair.
