Where writers find inspiration

who want to tell a story about God or to tell the story why they do not believe He exists. As the saying goes, "There are two sides to a story, why not have the equal opportunity to tell both." I am a true believer in God and He inspires me to write and He inspires me to continue living because I want to tell the world a story.

Finally, I believe that our failures and our successes in life inspire us to write. The section in bookstores entitled, Self Help or Self-Improvement is growing each and every day. We want to tell the world about our failures and look for ways to correct them. We even want to tell the world about our failures through writing so that we can tell the world not to make the same mistakes. I think one of the greatest books about failure that led to success is Og Mandino's book : The Greatest Salesman, I think is the title. He told a story about how he came to hit rock bottom and then how he picked himself up and became one of the greatest salesman in the world.

No matter how you look at it, there are many ways we can inspire ourselves to write a book. Even if you do not know how to successfully write, you can use programs that are offered for those who like to "speak" their words rather than write them on paper. One good program is IBM's Via Voice Gold. I use this a great deal in conjunction with my writing. It really cuts down on the time spent on the keyboard.

I think we can really encourage each other to write and inspire each other to write. Perfect strangers saying, "Hey, you should write about that," is enough to get me to write.
