I'd bet MOST of my bus fare that YOU have experienced that "love at first sight" syndrome -maybe more then a few times, even! Can any of us be truly objective about this very basic instinct? Isn't the whole thing mostly based on lust? Sure it is! Admit it, my friend, no matter WHAT your sexual preference, dictated by birth or choice, we march to the same gene pool rules as the "other" guy or gal and it lives just below us beneath the planet of the "apes" (that's US!)"It" jumps up-WE march! That's all there is TO it! Can any amongst us deny it? Can you tell me YOU haven't picked up the beat sometime, somewhere in your life and assumed the cadence? Sure you have! What do you think the name of the tune is? You've got it-LUST! It's the substance and cause of most divorces, separations, arguments, jealousy, trauma and MOST of all-HEARTACHE! Are there exceptions? My goodness, of course there are. Aren't there to EVERY thing we see or do in life? What I'm talkin' about is-average, here. Statistics. You know. The things that makes most of the world go 'round. However, for the sake of the discussion, let's take a look at your OWN situation for a moment. Unless your 18, (or there abouts,) and "deeply in love", are you or your mate still starry eyed and wondrous at the very mention of each others name? Are you still in "lust?" Maybe, maybe not. Chances are you're not, but then again that would depend on current events and circumstances surrounding your particular situation and whether you've married each other yet.

Ever hear the phrase "get married and ruin a good thing?" No? Well, wake up and smell the coffee and think about THAT for a moment! I'll give you this: if your still courting, dating or simply keeping company, no matter your age, (not living together) you probably still have lot's of common ground between you. (Now THERE'S something to think about!) However, if you've moved in with each other, I'm willing to bet, once again, that the honey moon is waning and the sun is setting on your expectations and things are starting to swing to the left, so to speak. (Are you still with me?) Perfect match? Not yet. Think you can get past the phrase: "beauty is only skin deep" ( I'm talkin' esoteric beauty, here.)be it male or female? Conjure up some images on THAT one for a moment or two. How did it start, for you? Perhaps a fleeting glance of recognition across a crowded room? (Sorry, couldn't resist the reference to some of the lyrics to a very popular song in days of
