Living the good life...paid for with plastic,
Faux castle full of luxurious things,
Store-bought happiness, fake and fantastic.
NASCAR dad kings and their soccer-mom queens.
Drive a red Hummer to show their support,
Dollar store magnet of red, white and blue.
For soldiers who fight a televised war,
Watch it unfold on a plasma screen tube.
Breast augmentation and a Botox smile,
Endless erections - Viagra induced,
Mammary loss and libido denial,
Synthetic sex life so far from the truth.
Plasticine people who never get wet,
Sailing the seas on an ocean of debt.

we walk straight but fall behind ourselves
as if it's different than it was before.
