PRODUCT REVIEWS: AeroGrow's Aerogarden

The perfect product which comes with all that you need to begin your herb garden in your
home. It is attractive and doesn't take up very much room. I believe one writer gave it's
dimensions so I won't repeat them. It's simple to use with easy instructions to follow. It
comes with the necessary food and the light comes on at different times to let you know it's

time to feed them. This is about a two week period.

You get caraway, cilantro, basil, oregano, dill and chives. I believe there are six different ones that are provided with your kit. You can also buy assorted others that are bought separately.

The set up is easy as everything is labeled for you. It tells you to keep the dome cover on
until the stems come up through and are visible in the dome. The dome gives them a green
house affect. The garden comes with an over head light so you don't need sunlight. You can
set it for eight hours or twenty four hours. The basin is filled with water and the garden tells you when you are low.

When the herbs are a good height and strong you can begin to cut them back and use them.
You will want to keep them cut back on a regular basis so that none of the herbs will overthrow
the others. Otherwise you may have one that won't succeed due to not enough light or being
smothered.

It's a wonderful sight to walk in your home and see this attractive piece anyway with these
beautiful herbs flourishing. You can freeze them. I read that you can freeze them for a year.
I put mine in a plastic bag and put the date and the name of the herb. When you take them out
of the freezer you have fresh herbs that look as beautiful and healthy as they did the day you
froze them.

You can also put them in a brown paper bag for a week and once they are dry put them in
your herb container.
