The problem our farmers are at the moment is that our road network is poor
therefore becomes hard to take the produce to the factory and to the
market.
Another issue is the current political unrest around the country making it impossible for farmers to work on there land because most of them have been displaced, their produce being burnt, therefore it has really
slowed down farming around the country and the country is really losing a lot
of revenue in the Agricultural sector.
The country is now relying on stored food for the upkeep of its population until things get better. The use of Technology is important in every developing country's economy. It is true, but it means "environmental degradation too." The important issue to my mind is: "What and How are the ways, in which rural people want to live?" In developing countries it is important to learn about their knowledge and what are their dreams... In this way, we can find a way to improve our life style (I am from a developing country Colombia said one student on research).
In my country Palm crops are expanding every day in a tropical forest, which means biodiversity and environmental degradation, if someone has information about palm crops, I will appreciate your help.As regards the issue being discussed, I think that in addition to all that has been said on ways to improve on rural agriculture, there is also need to design and provide ways of effectively storing the farm produce to reduce if not eliminate the rot and waste of the final farm produce. If these produce can be stored effectively, then we can have a constant supply of these produce all year round and it would also keep the farmers employed and earning enough money all year round.
Thank you!
And have a nice day

The bushel began as part of a system (British Imperial) for measuring commodities such as corn by volume rather than weight.
A bushel is "a measure of dry capacity in the English-speaking world". It is used to measure dry commodities, not liquids.
