determination
removing obstacles
that impede
nurturing the warrior spirit
becoming a new breed
within
not without
lacking fear
lacking doubt
quietly sharpening
the sword
of my soul
coming to the awareness
not displaying the shiny
sword
of ego
or saying any words
meeting the enemy
through
the quiet fire of my eyes
it is enough
reality not bluff
there is no need
to speak loudly
or hold court
on what is
will
be
I sort truth
from perceptions
and finally see
what the past
keeps away from
me
