solace
like a spring
day reaching for
its night
through the shadows
colors meet
blend complete
quiet
music of harmony
reaching for me
color has no sword
drawn and the
night doesn't fight
the dawn
no emptiness is found
faith
without defeat
love of life
present in the victory
of now
i bow
in the
corners of my heart
where ego doesn't reign
with the bright
blade of self
that grows rusty
and dull on this inner
shelf
it is a peace to be
noticed
it is a prayer
the gift of what is
and not what will be
humility
knowing me
no horn
to trumpet
or praise to sing
just me and who
i am
i present myself
to god
with my strength and faults
in glory of
now
solace
humbles the quiet
music that comes from
within
teaching me
a lesson to learn
a way to pray
a place to turn
the voice inside
quiet and still
in the blue depths
the plan is god's
will

A strange black hound lies on the ground
Its head rested
