With over ninety different substances, including minerals and trace elements such as potassium, calcium, iron, and vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin A and Vitamin B1 to name a few, Apple cider vinegar is an excellent health tool in the kitchen. The uses of apple cider vinegar in the kitchen are numerous, and here are several ways that apple cider vinegar can enrich your life today!

Morning Drink:

The most common use of apple cider vinegar is either in diluted forms or with sweet teas. Using the apple cider vinegar in honeyed solutions or herbal teas, helps to reduce the sour taste of vinegar that most people do not enjoy, making it far more palatable.

Honey Cider tea

2. Sprinkle some cinnamon into the cup
3. Add one tablespoon of honey
4. Stir well, and then enjoy

Salads:

Alternatively, apple cider vinegar can be used in place of normal vinegars in salads, adding that extra zing to the salads and making it healthier as a whole.

Spinach Chickpea Vinegar Salad

You'd need:
5 cups of baby spinach, chopped
1 ounces canned chickpeas, well drained
Red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil

Steps:
1. Combine the chopped spinach, chopped onions and chickpeas in a bowl
2. Add the vinegar and the olive oil
3. Toss well to coat the vegetables
4. Season with salt or pepper to taste, and then enjoy

Other Miscellaneous uses:

Apple cider vinegar can work as a substitute for several of your culinary ingredients, with a much healthier zing than the normal products

1) As a substitute for egg: One tablespoon for every egg you would have added works as a lower cholesterol, high in potassium alternative

2) As a substitute for lemon: Apple cider vinegar can be used as an alternative for a sauce over fish or meats, with the same amount of zing
