Timeless
Ribbons and curls, ladies preparing
Dresses unfurled, gents left to staring
Timeless these treasures, left to good measure
Patiently wait for us nigh
Curtseys and bows, low and endearing
Cards filled for all, dancing and hearing
Strings with their sound, flowing around
Greatly lift spirits high
Simple connection, nearing perfection
Beauties a spinning, mums left a grinning
Nights such as these, with fathers at ease
