Science and belief

For many, many years we have heard that there were no dinosaurs, although throughout history, science has 'proved' it. Well that may very well be the case and I am not going to refute it. In fact I agree with scientists.

I am also a born again Christian and I totally and thoroughly believe in the Holy Bible from Genesis to Revelation. I believe that God Almighty created the heavens, the earth and all that is within, in seven 'days'.

Let's have a look at the Bible for a moment. If you agree that the Lord created the heavens, the earth and all that is within, in seven days, couldn't you also believe this scripture:

'2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. So Katy what is this telling us? That is simple. One thousand (1000) years is one day to God.'

In that case wouldn't it take 7000 years to create the heavens and the earth? Not to mention the beasts of the field. Couldn't the dinosaurs have been there at some point? Why sure it is possible! Let's have another look at the Bible.

This is on day four OR the 4000th year:

'Genesis 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.'

Then we have the fifth day or the 5000th year:

'23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.'

If this is true that dinosaurs existed (I and my children do believe they did), then most definitely God created them. Thank you scientist, for backing up the Word of God!
