The entertaining Manning boys. No, I don't think Eli will ever get out of the shadow of Peyton. This is really the first year he has taken the Giants to the playoffs and became successful. I believe he still has a long long way to go before you can even count him in the same category as his brother. He's a good quarterback, but he's not a great quarterback yet. He has his flaws as a young player, and we have all seen them. Yet he has also has some great games which is wonderful, because it has given us a glimpse into the future.

Even if he went to the superbowl and won it, which is not going to happen, but saying he did,
Eli would still not be at the caliber of that greatness. He still has other great quarterbacks to pass up in the NFL. As in Carson Palmer, Tom Brady, his brother of course, and many others. Now when he starts to break records and barriers that he never has before, then people will start to take a serious look at him. Since the NFL fans have known Peyton Manning they have known him to be a consistent quarterback, one who is always at the top of the board in stats. I mean think about it, each year who is the best quarterback? Usually Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, with one exception a couple years ago from Carson Palmer, who had one outstanding season. In the earlier games of Eli we have seen him to make a lot of mistakes. He kept his cool, and is a class act. With time, and more knowledge of the game he will turn into one sensational player.

Eli Manning has had a fair season. With 23 touchdowns, along with 20 interceptions. He has also thrown for 3,336 yards which is very respectable. Now next year if he comes out with guns blazing people will turn there heads. However as for right now he is and will always be known as Peyton's little brother, which to me, isn't a bad thing.
