I went to school in the 80's and 90's with quite a few Tylers. However, I thought the popularity was on a down slope since I had not heard it too often lately. I thought this would be the perfect name for my second son born in 2004. It is easy to pronounce, easy to read, and easy to spell. Needless to say, I was quite surprised when I enrolled him in pre-school and he was among 3 in his class named Tyler. It appears to be just as popular as always.
