How ethanol and biofuels threaten our economy

Ethanol does not threaten our economy. Ethanol is not a new fuel source. Ford Motor Company has produced ethanol vehicles in two of their models for years. The Ford Taurus and the Ranger pick up truck were available with the ability to run on either gas or ethanol.

However the public never understood what ethanol is. America is waiting for hydrogen cell vehicles as BMW will be coming to market with soon. Hydrogen sounds much better then ethanol.

If you look hard enough you can still find a Taurus or Ranger on a used car lot that has a an emblem with a green leave that identifies that the vehicle can run on ethanol.

Many consumers have these cars and to this day they do not know that they run on ethanol.
Ethanol is not easy to find. It is usually found at at truck stop, or a filling station in an industrial area.

Many public companies drove these units, and many still have them. They run great, and burn clean. Many utility companies and state agency's were in the for front of ordering these vehicles.

And growing corn a problem. Listen it is the easiest and fastest growing crop in the world. They are planning to grow corn in Iraq. Then we can rebuild Iraq with corn dollars and we will all feel great. Do not be surprised by some ridicules proposal as this in the near future. Leave it to Bush, he always has an idea.

With President Bush doing the sword dance in the Middle East and selling Americas oil tom his Texas buddies, don't expect ethanol anytime soon. Remember Bush has to pad his retirement, and his wife does not work. He is selling out America. When 9-11 hit, oil was forty dollars a barrel. Now it is ninety. Look at the country of Dubai. With the worlds largest construction project going on, why drop the price.

It is all about the oil and the Texas circle jerk. Except the public is the one getting jerked off.
