The animal inside me wears cat-eye shaped sunglasses
and rare exotic furs.
She is afraid of nothing and no one.
She only eats goose liver pate off fine bone china.
The animal inside me despises dumb drooling dogs.
She lives in pretty pink palatial spaces
and plays with your infantile emotions.
The animal inside me sings a four octave range.
She has a collection of collars
from the dumb dogs she's disemboweled.
She revels in the memories of their grisly deaths.
The animal inside me loves herself
and no one else.
She's waiting for anything, something or nothing at all,
she'll never tell.
She wishes people would vanish on her whim.
And sometimes when no one is looking,
the animal inside of me
howls at the moon
just like those hated dogs.

I tell him, "GET BEHIND ME," just as Jesus did,
If I didn't I'd
