Lets face it ladies we are really no better equipped to buy our man the perfect gift than they are to buy us one. We know the men in our lives but when it comes to the perfect gift there are just so many decisions! Giving a gift this Valentines Day that your man will love and be thankful for does not have to be stressful. Here are a few suggestions I would make to see his smile beam and make some wonderful memories to boot.
* Take him out to enjoy a favorite hobby, meal, or catch a movie he wants to see. This is his special treat so let him make all the decisions and you just go along with the plan. This can give the both of you time to relax and step back from the stresses of your daily lives.
* Cook him his favorite meal at home. My husband prefer I cook for him. Make the meal special by preparing items you know he enjoys. Add an extra touch with the nice china no paper plates tonight, candle light, and perhaps a nice bottle of wine. Toast to the happiness of the day and your future.
* Buy him a nice box of chocolates to satisfy his sweet tooth craving. The gift of chocolate is not just for women men enjoy sweet treats to! Buy his favorite and surprise him with it after dinner.
* Make time for the two of you. It does not matter what you do as long as you share the evening together. Valentines Day offers a great excuse to catch that much needed couple time you both have been craving.
* Run a nice warm sweet smelling bubble bath. Set the mood with glowing candles and soft music and then ask if he would like to join you. Any man in his right mind is going to say yes regardless of what kind of day he has had.
* Slip into his favorite or a newly purchased soon to be favorite negligee. I do not have to tell you where this soon leads. Enjoy each others company and what ever else may come of the night.
* If work schedules prevents you from having time together on Valentines Day there is still hope. Men like electronics so get him the new gadget you know he has been wanting. This will not take the place of you but will still show you care.
* Do you write, do you paint, or do you do any other type of crafts? If so make him a little something special. Men are not very sentimental but just the fact you took the time to hand make him a present is worth it to both of you. It can say so much more than a Hallmark store bought card!
* Men are not big on flowers so I would not suggest going overboard with a dozen roses but a single red rose is not a bad idea. The red rose signifies love. A hand written note, poem, or a favorite picture with the words I love you can add the extra touch.
The important thing to remember on Valentines Day is that it is not the price of the gifts you give and receive it is the meaning and reason you give or receive them. Make an effort to be together and enjoy the things you normally don't have the time to enjoy. Most of all love the person you are with and show it!
